Concert Hall

The hall is home to our live group entertainment. Most Fridays and virtually all Saturdays we have popular bands for you to dance to.

It’s free for Members, on production of a valid membership card, and is also free for Members long term partners.

Non members and Members without their cards, (including partners), pay £5 each on the door.

Entertainment and low priced drinks for £5 is good value but why not become a member and get in free?

We also have special show nights occasionally where entry is normally £15 for everyone, sometimes even less.

The hall is available to hire for private functions for groups of more than 40 people but apply early. (Not available on Saturdays)

For smaller groups, the Adults room may be available for hire. (Children are allowed in the Adults room for private hire parties.)

If you are having a smaller celebration with just a few friends, why not just come along on a Friday or Saturday night and celebrate in the Hall.

(On Fridays please check on our events page that we have a band playing and that the Hall has not been booked for a private party)

The Welcome is a Members club and only Members, their long term partners, their signed in guests and valid CIU Associate card holders are allowed in to the Members Lounge.

We serve a large selection of our regular and guest, draught & bottled beers plus a good choice of alcohol free/low alcohol.

The Family Bar leads on to the games area where we have pool and darts. and also the 'adults only' lounge bar for a quiet drink away from children.

Non members may pass through to use the smoking/vaping area on the patio. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the club.

The 'adults only' lounge bar gives a chance for a quieter relaxed drink away from children and other distractions.

This lounge may be hired out for private functions of up to 40 people.

Please not that the lounge is used for Committee meeting every other Wednesday from 8pm to approximately 9:30pm. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The patio area has outside seating and is the only smoking and vaping area.

Please have consideration for any non smokers nearby.
